Celebrating 25 years of AIM

25 years ago, AIM was launched to provide a platform for growth companies to raise equity capital. In that time over 3,800 companies, operating in 79 countries around the world, have raised £118bn of capital, making AIM the most successful growth market in the world.

To mark this occasion, we’ve published a report looking at AIM’s achievements, including research from Grant Thornton on AIM’s contribution to the UK Economy, analysis on AIM’s global reach, case-studies from some of the companies on AIM and perspectives from across the wider AIM community. You can also find below an animation highlighting the findings from the report and a video message from Marcus Stuttard, Head of UK Primary Markets and AIM,  reflecting on AIM’s successes and the evolution of the market.
