London Stock Exchange announces the establishment of the Sustainable Bond Market Advisory Group (SBMAG). SBMAG will act as a forum for market participants to provide input on the Exchange’s Sustainable Bond Market, and act as a consultative body on future developments. This initiative is part of London Stock Exchange’s continued commitment to supporting companies and investors seeking to raise capital and manage risk associated with the transition to a low carbon economy.
SBMAG members are invited to participate by London Stock Exchange on the basis of their expertise, and to provide a balanced representation of key market stakeholders such as industry bodies, external reviewers, law firms, underwriters, investors and bond issuers which have shown an active participation in sustainable finance. Membership will be reviewed every two years to ensure an appropriately broad spectrum of market participants.
