Five weeks of world-class sporting action begins at St James’ Park, Newcastle on October 15 before Headingley Stadium, Leeds opens the women’s tournament on November 1 and a double-header at the iconic Copper Box, London kicks off the wheelchair event on November 3.

At the heart of the tournament is a trailblazing social impact programme that is already creating significant social benefit in local communities. RLWC2021 are committed to shining a global spotlight on the North, not least from the way the sport is woven into the social fabric of many places that the tournament will visit.

Jon Dutton, RLWC2021 Chief Executive Officer, said:

“We are delighted to be joined by the three World Cup trophies, tournament ambassadors and former players at the London Stock Exchange today for this special opportunity to collectively celebrate the release of the tournament schedule for 2022.”
