London Stock Exchange welcomes Caerus Mineral Resources to the Main Market

This morning, London Stock Exchange is pleased to welcome Caerus Mineral Resources as it begins trading on the standard segment of the Main Market under the ticker “CMRS”, having completed a £2.25 million raise.

Caerus is the first mining company to list on the Main Market this year and provides the Market with exposure to the burgeoning energy metals space in Europe.

The Company’s current focus is on developing its portfolio of assets in Cyprus, where there has been no mining activity since the mid 70’s. With several brownfield sites, including 14 former mines, Caerus aims to revive the Country’s dormant Mining Sector and develop a large resource base that can supply the Clean Energy Transition in Europe.

The funds raised from the IPO will allow the Company to explore its existing licence and resource portfolio and develop its dump reprocessing programme to generate near-term production and provide further shareholder value.

Martyn Churchouse, Chief Executive Officer of Caerus Mineral Resources, said: Today is an exciting one for Caerus and is the culmination of the hard work the team had put into the Company. We are delighted with the support we received from our new shareholders and look forward to welcoming more as we progress the story.

The emphasis on our brownfield licence portfolio puts us in a distinct position in the Exploration & Development Sector. With several former producing mines and a near-term runway to production, we offer a significant growth opportunity within the copper-gold space. Today is the next step in our journey towards our goal, and we look forward to updating the market with our progress."
