What is advanced bond search?

Advanced bond search is a tool for private investors to not only access price information but also to compare and analyse all the bonds on Order Book for Retail Bonds (ORB). This enables investors to make informed investment decisions when customising their portfolio.

What is the default display/filter?

By default, you will see all the retail bonds listed on Order Book for Retail Bonds (ORB) sorted by alphabetical order (A-Z) of the instrument/security name.

How to filter?

Use the below filter types in order to search for any retail bond listed on Order Book for Retail Bonds (ORB).

  • Company, code or ISIN - Search for a company/security by its name, code (TIDM / EPIC) or International Securities Identification Number (ISIN).
  • Maturity - Maturity period of the retail bond.
  • Coupon rate (>=)
  • Coupon yield (>=)
  • Coupon type
  • Yield to maturity (>=)

 

What do you find on search results and how to sort them?

Your search results will be consisted of the below information of ORB listed retail bonds and it will be presented in a table format.

  • Instrument name and ISIN - International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) is a unique market data identifying code for each security. Click on the column header to sort your results in alphabetical order (A-Z or Z-A).
  • Maturity date - The date on which the issuer repays the amount invested to the bond holder. Click on the column header to sort your results according to maturity date order either farthest - soonest or soonest - farthest.
  • Coupon frequency - The established date for the interest payment on a bond. Click on the column header to sort your results according to coupon frequency order either longest - shortest or shortest - longest.
  • Expected coupon payment date - the expected date on which the bond’s coupon is payable. Click on the column header to sort your results according to expected payment date order either farthest - soonest or soonest - farthest.
  • Price - The clean price, which represents the price of the bond excluding any accrued interest. Click on the column header to sort your results either highest - lowest or lowest - highest.
  • Current yield - The percentage return generated only by the interest paid on the bond and not by any capital gain or loss the bondholder may incur by holding the bond until its maturity. Click on the column header to sort your results according to current yield either highest - lowest or lowest - highest.
  • Yield to maturity - The total return anticipated on a bond if the bond is held until it matures. Click on the column header to sort your results according to yield to maturity either highest - lowest or lowest - highest.
  • Accrued days - The number of days since the previous coupon payment. Click on the column header to sort your results according to accrued days either highest - lowest or lowest - highest.
  • Accrued interest - The interest accumulated in the period between the previous coupon payment date and the settlement date of the bond trade. Click on the column header to sort your results according to accrued interest either highest - lowest or lowest - highest.
  • Duration - A measure of the sensitivity of a bond's market price to interest rate movements. It is approximately equal to the percentage change in price for a given change in yield. Click on the column header to sort your results according to duration either highest - lowest or lowest - highest.
