London Stock Exchange markets are instrumental in providing capital-raising opportunities to a range of investment funds. The Specialist Fund Segment (SFS) is our dedicated segment for specialist, closed-ended investment funds targeting institutional, professional, professionally advised and knowledgeable investors.
By working closely with market participants, the SFS has been designed to suit a range of highly specialised funds, including private equity funds, feeder funds, hedge funds (both single and multi-strategy), specialist geographical funds, funds with sophisticated structures or security types, specialist property funds, infrastructure funds, sovereign wealth funds and single asset funds.
Because SFS is an EU-regulated market, securities admitted to the market are eligible for more investor mandates, providing a pool of liquidity for issuers admitted to the market.
Securities will be traded on either SETS or SETSqx trading service, depending upon the profile of the security and the relevant settlement-clearing arrangements. SETS is our electronic order book with integrated market maker liquidity. SETSqx is our trading service that combines market maker quotes with additional order book functionality to provide continuous liquidity throughout the day.
To help you promote your quotation on the Specialist Fund Segment (SFS) to investors, customers and other stakeholders, and to showcase your fund's association with London Stock Exchange, we have developed a brand mark for your company to use.
Using this mark will help to improve stakeholders’ understanding of your admission to the SFS and the regulatory obligations with which your fund is expected to comply.
This brand mark will provide SFS funds with a device to clearly communicate the nature of their quotation to market participants. We display the brand mark on each individual security summary page on our website, while it can also be used by your company on corporate materials such as websites, publications, press releases, advertisements and business cards.
